42 People Screened Through Project Sunkalp
Project Sunkalp reached Vedavakkam NGO Center, Mathurantagam, where 42 community members came forward for cancer screening and preventive health awareness.
The camp included 34 women and 8 men, with the following screenings completed:
Every screening represents a person taking an important step towards understanding their health and the value of early detection.
By organising cancer screening camps closer to communities, Kalpavriksham Trust aims to reduce barriers such as travel, cost, time and lack of awareness, while encouraging people to make preventive screening part of their regular healthcare routine.
The participation of both women and men also reinforces an important message: cancer awareness and early detection matter to everyone.
Through Project Sunkalp, we continue working with local communities, healthcare professionals, NGOs, panchayats and CSR partners to expand access to cancer screening across the Madurantakam region.
42 people participated. 71 screenings were completed. Another community took a meaningful step towards early detection and better cancer awareness.
